John Tower, our common ancestor, was born in Lincolnshire, England, in the year 1609. He arrived in America from England on June 1, 1637.
At a young age, John Tower became friends with Samuel Lincoln, another influential figure of the time. Their friendship would prove to be significant as both of them embarked on a journey across the Atlantic Ocean to the New World.
It was in Hingham that John Tower met and married Margaret Ibrook. Their union brought together two individuals who were determined to build a prosperous future for themselves and their descendants.
John Tower lived during a remarkable period in history, and his experiences undoubtedly shaped his character and values. As our common ancestor, his legacy continues to resonate through the generations, reminding us of the courage and resilience of those who came before us.
